Troubleshooting

Use this page when a watch is not receiving, discovery fails, or a live session drops unexpectedly.

Watch not receiving signals

Verify the watch shows "connected" status on the player in-game screen. Check that the PitchTAC watch app is installed and running.

Before You Move On

  • Bluetooth and local connectivity are still enabled
  • Coach sees the device in the connected list
  • A fresh test signal was attempted before re-invite

Connection drops during a session

Enable Do Not Disturb on both devices (recommended for all games). Stay within Bluetooth range (approximately 30 feet / 10 meters).

    Reduce preventable interruptions

    Enable Do Not Disturb on both devices (recommended for all games). Stay within Bluetooth range (approximately 30 feet / 10 meters). If disconnected, the app will automatically attempt to reconnect for up to 5 minutes.

    Let reconnect run before rebuilding the session

    A reconnecting overlay appears: "Reconnecting to coach..." with a spinner. The app attempts to reconnect for up to 5 minutes. If the coach reappears, you're automatically re-approved and the game resumes. If reconnection times out, you'll see:

Field reality

At crowded sidelines, a known session code is usually more dependable than waiting for discovery to recover cleanly.
